Chiefs Sign OT Bryan Witzmann To Extension

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Thursday that they’ve signed OT Bryan Witzmann to a contract extension.

Witzmann, 27, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota State back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Houston before signing on to the Saints’ practice squad a few weeks into the 2015 season.

New Orleans elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract, but he was unfortunately waived a few weeks after last year’s draft. Witzmann has a brief stint with the Cowboys before the Chiefs claimed off waivers at the start of last year.

In 2016, Witzmann appeared in 11 games for the Chiefs.
