Chiefs Sign S Steven Terrell, Waive P Will Monday

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve signed S Steven Terrell to a contract on Thursday and waived P Will Monday.

Terrell, 26, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2013. He had a brief stint with the Texans before catching on with the Seahawks in July of 2014.

Seattle declined to tender Terrell a restricted offer this past March, which made him an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Terrell appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and recorded 27 tackles, one fumble recovery, no interceptions and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 75 safety out of 90 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
