The Kansas City Chiefs announced Thursday that they’ve signed TE Orson Charles and S Damariay Drew and waived WR Jamari Staples and S Devin Chappell.
Charles, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2012. He lasted just over two years in Cincinnati before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season and later signed on to the Titans’ practice squad.
The Saints gave him a shot the following year but he was cut loose at the start of the 2015 season. Charles signed on with the Lions last year, but was waived,
In 2016, Charles has appeared in two games for the Lions but has yet to record a single statistic.
