Chiefs Sign TE Phillip Supernaw Off Ravens’ Practice Squad

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed TE Phillip Supernaw off of the Ravens’ practice squad, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

Chiefs TE Anthony Fasano sustained a knee contusion towards the end of Sunday’s game against the Bills, so this move could be related to his injury.

Supernaw, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Ouachita Baptist back in 2012. He spent two years with Houston before he was placed on waivers this past May.

Baltimore later signed him to their practice squad after they made their final roster cuts at the end of August. Since then, Supernaw has appeared in three games for the Ravens and caught one pass for -2 yards receiving.
