Chiefs Signing Veteran S Kurt Coleman

The Kansas City Chiefs are signing veteran S Kurt Coleman to a contract, according to his agent Blake Baratz.

Coleman, 26, signed a one-year contract worth $900,000 with the Vikings this past April, but was unfortunately among the players released this past weekend as they trimmed their roster to 53 players.

He was a seventh-round draft pick of the Eagles back in 2010 and spent the first four years of his career in Philadelphia. Coleman rejoins his former HC Andy Reid.

In 2013, he appeared in 15 games for the Eagles and totaled 14 tackles on the season.
