The Kansas City Chiefs waived OT Tavon Rooks from the non-football injury list on Friday.
Rooks, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Saints back in 2014. Unfortunately, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but later signed to their practice squad.
The Cardinals signed him to a future/reserve contract in January of last year. However, he lasted with them until June. Rooks caught on with the Chiefs a few weeks later, but was once again placed waivers at the start of the season.
Rooks has yet to appear in an NFL game.
