Chiefs Waive WR Jordan Smallwood, Sign WR Davon Grayson

The Kansas City Chiefs placed WR Jordan Smallwood on waivers and signed WR Davon Grayson to a contract.

Smallwood wound up signing on with the Chiefs following this year’s draft after he went undrafted out of Oklahoma.

During this four-year college career at Oklahoma, Smallwood caught 18 passes for 170 yards receiving and one touchdown to go along with four rushing attempts for 16 and two scores over the course of 21 games.

Grayson wound up going undrafted out of East Carolina a few weeks ago. He tried out for the Titans last weekend, but wasn’t signed to a contract following the session.

During his four-year college career at East Carolina, Grayson caught 135 passes for 1,767 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns over the course of 37 games.
