Chiefs Work Out Veterans OT Winston Justice & WR Damian Williams

The Kansas City Chiefs recently worked out veteran OT Winston Justice and veteran WR Damian Williams, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

The Chiefs are currently winless, and perhaps more alarmingly, their roster has been depleted by injuries and suspensions.

Justice, 30, spent the 2013 season and training camp this year with the Denver Broncos before ultimately being released during the first wave of cuts.  He’s spent the majority of his career with the Eagles, before spending one season in Indianapolis.

Williams, 26, spent his first four seasons with the Titans, before attempting to make the Dolphins 53-man roster this year.  His best season came in 2011, when he recorded 45 catches for 592 yards and five touchdowns.

The Chiefs clearly have depth issues at wide receiver, which may make Williams an attractive option considering he is a young player with production, a commodity rarely available at this point in the season.

While the offensive line has struggled, Justice has only played in four games since 2012.  In 2012, Justice graded as the No. 43 offensive tackle out of 80 according to Pro Football Focus.
