Chiefs Worked Out 6 Players Including QB Josh Woodrum & WR Kenny Bell

NFL Draft Diamonds is reporting that the Chiefs brought in six players for workouts including: DE Lawrence Vigil, LS Jon Akemon, FB Will Ratelle, FB Chris Swain, QB Josh Woodrum and WR Kenny Bell.

Bell, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2015. He wound up signing a four-year, $2,484,836 contract with the Bucs and was set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

The Buccaneers elected to cut Bell loose coming out of the preseason with an injury designation. He later reverted to their injured reserve list before he was waived with an injury settlement soon after.

Bell has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Woodrum, 23, signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Liberty but was unfortunately waived after the team signed QB B.J. Daniels to their roster.

The Colts signed him to a contract back in May but was cut loose a few months later.

During his four-year college career at Liberty, Woodrum threw for 10,266 yards while completing 63.9 percent of his passes to go along with 61 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also contributed 228 yards rushing and 16 rushing touchdowns.
