Chiefs Worked Out LB Alex Singleton

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Chiefs worked out LB Alex Singleton this week.

Singleton, 21, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Montana State shortly after this year’s NFL draft. However, he was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason before later signing on to the Patriots’ practice squad a few days into the season.

New England would end up releasing Singleton just one week later.

During the preseason, Singleton recorded nine tackles over the course of four games.

And this was significant why? (Hint: Journalism 101. Who, what, when, where, and WHY.)

In no way are we implying that this is “significant” news. We track roster movement around the NFL, and keeping up with who’s working out for certain teams helps us offer suggestions when injuries occur.
