Colts Activate DT Arthur Jones From Suspended List

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have activated DT Arthur Jones to their 53-man roster from the suspended list.

Jones just finished serving his four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

Jones, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2010. He played out his four-year rookie contract with the Ravens before signing a five-year, $33 million contract that included $16 million guaranteed.

Jones was set to make a base salary of $4.5 million for the 2016 season when he agreed to a pay cut earlier in the offseason.

Last year, Jones suffered a serious ankle injury that forced him to undergo  surgery to repair torn ligaments, and subsequently led to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve before the start of the season.
