Colts Bringing In QB Matt Moore For A Visit

Adam Schefter reports that the Colts will bring in veteran QB Matt Moore for a visit on Monday.

Schefter mentions that Moore‘s former HC Joe Philbin is now a member of the Colts’ staff, so there’s a connection between the two.

Indianapolis has already met with Luke McCown (re-signed with the Saints) and Scott Tolzien in recent days in regards to their search to find a new backup quarterback.

Moore, 31, wound up signing on with Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2007. He spent three years with the Panthers before departing for an opportunity with the Dolphins.

He’s spent the past four years backing up Ryan Tannehill.

In 2015, Moore appeared in just one game and completed a single pass for 14 yards and no touchdowns.
