Colts Sign Former Bengals DE Margus Hunt To Two-Year Deal

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Colts have agreed to terms with former Bengals DE Margus Hunt on a two-year contract.

Hunt has yet to develop into the kind of impact players the Bengals envisioned when they drafted him a few years ago. He does, however, offer great size and may benefit from a change of scenery.

Hunt, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $3,671,100 rookie contract with the Bengals and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2016, Hunt appeared in 15 games for the Bengals and recorded 17 tackles, no sacks and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 62 edge rusher out of 109 qualifying players.
