Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, is reporting that the Colts brought in free agent RB Jeff Demps for a tryout on Tuesday.

This is the first reported interest in Demps since the Buccaneers waived him from their practice squad just over a week ago.

Demps, 24, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2012. However, he was later traded to the Buccaneers in a deal that sent RB LeGarrette Blount to the Patriots in return for Demps and a 2013 seventh-round pick.

Unfortunately for Demps, he was unable to make the Buccaneers’ final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was placed on waivers.

He has yet to appear in a game this season, but he was active for two games last year.
