Colts & Browns Also Hosting CB Bashaud Breeland For Visits

Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that the Colts and Browns are scheduled to host free agent CB Bashaud Breeland for visits this week.

Vic Tafur of the Athletic reported earlier that Breeland has left his visit with the Raiders without an agreement.

A report from this past season mentioned that Breeland was also scheduled to meet with the Chiefs on Tuesday.

According to Demovsky, Breeland is “healthy and ready to go” after the Panthers failed him on a physical back in March after they agreed to a three-year, $24 million deal.

Breeland previously visited with the Colts and Cardinals a months ago but left both trips without a deal in place.

Breeland, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.706 million contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.

Breeland is testing the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Breeland appeared in 14 games for the Redskins and recorded 48 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown and 16 pass defenses. He also contributed 280 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
