Colts Considering Marty Mornhinweg For Coaching Job?

With the Colts seemingly losing out to the Rams and Dolphins in Jeff Fisher sweepstakes, finding a potential replacement for Jim Caldwell has got lost in the shuffle.

The good news is that they’ve added a new GM, former Eagles exec Ryan Grigson, who will now be in charge of finding the teams next head coach.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network mentions that Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg could be an option for Indianapolis. Breer notes Mornhinweg’s work with quarterbacks as one reason for the consideration as the Colts are likely to draft Andrew Luck in the coming months. Mornhinweg was the head coach of the Lions some years ago and finished with a 5-27 record.
