Colts Expected To Fire HC Chuck Pagano

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that that the Colts are expected to fire HC Chuck Pagano following Sunday’s game.

The expectation has been that Pagano was going to be replaced by the Colts after the season, so this news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

One name to keep an eye on for the Colts, according to recent reports, is Seahawks OL coach Tom Cable. Others have suggested Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub and OC Matt Nagy, given that Colts GM Chris Ballard has ties to Kansas City.

One other possibility is Patriots OC Josh McDaniels in the event that the Colts want to make an aggressive move for one of the top coaching candidates.

Pagano, 57, was hired by the Colts back in 2012. During his six years in Indianapolis, Pagano led the team to a record of 52-43 (54.7 percent) and three playoff appearances including a championship appearance in 2014.

We’ll have more regarding the Colts as the news is available.
