Colts Hosted QB Luke McCown For A Visit On Thursday

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Colts brought in former Saints QB Luke McCown for a visit on Thursday.

This comes just hours after the news that they met with Packers QB Scott Tolzien, so they’re clearly in the market for a new backup quarterback.

McCown, 34, was taken in the fourth round of the 2004 draft by the Browns. He’s a well traveled quarterback who has played for a number of teams including the Jaguars, Falcons, Buccaneers and most recently for the Saints.

In 2015, McCown appeared in eight games for the Saints and threw for 335 yards while completing 82.1 percent of his passes to go along with one touchdown and no interceptions.
