Colts Officially Agree To Terms With CFL WR Duron Carter

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they have officially reached an agreement with CFL WR Duron Carter on a contract.

Joel Corry of CBS Sports reports that Carter receives a three-year contract from the Colts worth $1.575 million.

  • The agreement includes a 2015 base salary of $435,000 with $25,000 of this figure fully guaranteed.

The Vikings were reportedly in the mix for Carter as well, but you can’t blame a talent young receiver for wanting to pair up with arguably the games best young quarterbacks in Andrew Luck.

Carter, 23, totaled 124 career receptions for 1,939 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Montreal Alouettes over the past two years.

In 2014, he caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing and was named a CFL All-Star.
