The Indianapolis Colts officially placed CB Sheldon Price on season-ending injured reserve Monday, after he cleared waivers.
Price was waived with the injury designation a few days ago to make room for CB Eric Patterson.
Price, 23, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in April of last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was he later signed on to the team’s practice squad.
During his time at UCLA, Price appeared in 47 career games and recorded 157 tackles (123 solo), 21 passes defensed, five interceptions and two forced fumbles.
