The Indianapolis Colts announced that they are placing RB Ahmad Bradshaw on season-ending injured reserve Monday with a wrist injury.
- The Colts signed RB Zurlon Tipton to take Bradshaw’s roster spot.
Bradshaw suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game.
Bradshaw, 29, re-signed with the Colts a little over a month ago. He’ll unfortunately test the open market again in 2016.
This season, Bradshaw has appeared in six games and ran for 85 yards on 31 carries (2.7 YPC) to go along with 10 receptions for 64 yards receiving and three touchdowns for the Colts.
Tipton, 25, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May of last year. Since then, he’s been on and off of their active roster.
This season, Tipton has appeared in seven games and ran for nine yards on two carries.
