Colts Place TE Erik Swoope On Injured Reserve, Sign TE Brandon Williams

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve placed TE Erik Swoope on injured reserve and signed TE Brandon Williams to a contract.

  • The Colts also signed WR Krishawn Hogan, NT Joey Mbu, and OT Andrew Wylie to their practice squad.

Swoope, 25, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of 2014. He has been on and off of the team’s practice squad for the early part of his career before he made the 53-man roster last season.

The Colts brought Swoope back on an exclusive rights contract this offseason.

In 2016, Swoope appeared in all 16 games and caught 15 passes for 297 yards receiving and one touchdown.
