Colts RB Marlon Mack Expected To Miss A Few Weeks With Hamstring Strain

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Colts’ initial sense regarding RB Marlon Mack is that he will miss a few weeks with a manageable hamstring strain.

The Colts are still though they are still waiting for final confirmation.

Mack is in line for a big role this season, so it’s encouraging to hear that this isn’t expected to be a major injury.

Mack, 22, is a former fourth-round pick of the Colts back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.81 million contract and set to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Mack appeared in 14 games for the Colts and rushed for 358 yards on 93 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 21 receptions for 225 yards receiving and four total touchdowns.

We’ll have more regarding Mack as the news is available.
