Colts Re-Sign G David Arkin To Practice Squad, Cut TE Sean McGrath

The Indianapolis Colts re-signed G David Arkin to their practice squad on Monday and waived TE Sean McGrath, according to the NFL transactions release.

The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. David Arkin
  2. LB Amarlo Herrera
  3. QB Matt Blanchard
  4. DB Tay Glover-Wright
  5. DE Earl Okine
  6. OLB Daniel Adongo
  7. WR Quan Bray
  8. WR Duron Carter
  9. T Ulrick John
  10. TE Erik Swoope

Arkin, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2011. He spent a little over two years in Dallas before he later caught on with the Dolphins.

After a brief stint with the Seahawks, Arkin signed on with the Colts and has been on and off of their practice squad ever since.

He hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season.

McGrath, 27, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Henderson State back in 2012. He spent a over a year in Seattle before later being claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.

Last year, McGrath made the decision to retire from the NFL. However, this decision was short lived as he changed his mind a few months ago after being cut by Kansas City.

McGrath last appeared in a game during the 2013 season when he registered 26 catches for 302 yards and two touchdowns for the Chiefs.
