The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve released CB Jalil Brown and TE Chase Coffman to make room for S Matthias Farley and CB Neiko Thorpe, who were claimed off waivers.
Coffman, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals. He lasted a little over three years in Cincinnati before he later caught on with Falcons in 2012.
Coffman spent two years with the Falcons before he signing on with the Titans as an unrestricted free agent. The Titans were flipping Coffman on and off of their active roster before waiving him in October of last year.
The Seahawks signed him to a contract towards the end of the season and later caught on with the Colts a few months ago.
In 2015, Coffman has appeared two games and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Titans and Seahawks.
