The Colts officially released WR Brian Tyms from injured reserve on Friday with an injury settlement.
Tyms, 27, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2012. He had brief stints with the Dolphins and Browns before catching on with the Patriots in July of 2014.
Tyms returned to New England on a one-year deal last year, but was waived during the preseason. The Colts elected to sign him to a contract back in April before recently putting him on injured reserve.
In 2014, Tyms appeared in 11 games for the Patriots and caught five passes for 82 yards receiving and a single touchdown.
