The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have waived suspended WR LaVon Brazill on Friday.
- The Colts signed undrafted free agent WR Aaron Burks in a corresponding move fill their last remaining roster spot.
The NFL announced Brazill’s suspension a little over a week ago. Reports suggested that Brazill could be suspended for at least one year for violating the league’s policy for substance of abuse.
Indianapolis has enough talent on their roster to overcome the loss of Brazill, but it will be interesting to see if any gives him a look once his suspension is served.
Brazill, 25,had two years remaining on his rookie contract worth $2.178 million. Last year, he totaled 161 yards receiving on 12 receptions and two touchdowns over the course of 10 games.
