The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve released WR/KR Marcus Thigpen and promoted LB Amarlo Herrera to their active roster ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Patriots.
Thigpen, 29, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana back in 2009. Since then, Thigpen has played for a number of teams including the Broncos, Dolphins, Patriots, Buccaneers and most recently for the Bills.
Buffalo cut Thigpen loose last week before the Colts signed him to a contract a few days ago.
This season, Thigpen has appeared in four games and totaled 29 kick return yards and 47 punt return yards for the Bills.
