Mike Reiss of ESPN is reporting that the Colts have scheduled a visit with free agent DE Jabaal Sheard.
Sheard has already met with the Dolphins, but left Miami without a contract.
The Colts are clearly in the market for a pass rusher and Sheard is the top option available, so this is something to keep in an eye on in the coming days.
Sheard, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Browns back in 2011. He spent four years in Cleveland before signing on with the Patriots in 2015.
In 2016, Sheard appeared in 15 games for the Patriots and recorded 33 tackles, five sacks, and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 36 edge defender out of 109 qualifying players.
