The Indianapolis Colts announced the signings of C Thomas Austin, G Marcus Hall, WR Nu’Keese Richardson Friday night.
- The Colts also waived G Chad Anderson, waived/injured OLB Daniel Adongo and DT Jeris Pendleton and waived CB Brandon Burton from Injured Reserve with an injury settlement.
The Colts signed Anderson to a contract three weeks ago, and could use depth at guard, but it appears they prefer their other options. Anderson participated in the NFL Regional Combine a few months ago and most recently played for the LA Kiss of the Arena Football League.
Richardson is an undrafted free agent out of the University of Pikeville. He tried out for the Patriots back in May, but didn’t get a contract offer from the team.
Last year, he recorded 39 receptions for 588 yards and three touchdowns in nine games played.
Austin, 27, has bounced around a bit over the course of his brief NFL career. He offers some position versatility and has appeared in eight games while making one start.
Burton was claimed off of waivers from the Bengals back June. He has 19 career games under his belt during his time with the Bills and Vikings.
