Colts Sign CB Deveron Carr

The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing free agent CB Deveron Carr on Monday.

Carr was among the participates in this past weekend’s Veteran Combine and is the second player to sign a contract with an NFL team since the event concluded.

Carr, 24, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in April of 2013. He wound up being waived and later added to the team’s practice squad.

After signing an exclusive rights tender with Tampa Bay, Carr was unfortunately released at the start of the 2014 season and never caught on with another team.

He finished his four-year college career with 86 tackles, 22 passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, 2.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions.
