Colts Sign LB Johnathan Calvin & WR Devin Lucien To Practice Squad, Cut Two

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have signed LB Johnathan Calvin and WR Devin Lucien to their practice squad.

Calvin, 23, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May. Green Bay, unfortunately, decided to waive him as they worked their roster down to the 53-man limit.

During his two-year college career, Calvin recorded 82 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, one interception, one pass defensive, one fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles.

Lucien, 24, is a former seventh-round pick by the Patriots out of Arizona State in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was in the first year of a four-year rookie contract when the Patriots decided to waive him and sign him to their practice squad.

New England re-signed him to a futures contract back in February but was eventually waived with an injury settlement.

During his four-year college career, Lucien recorded 124 receptions for 1,826 yards receiving (14.7 YPC) and 12 touchdowns.
