The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing of rookie S Lee Hightower on Tuesday.
The Colts are dealing with some injuries at the safety position, as both Mike Adams and Clayton Geathers missed practice on Monday.
Hightower wound up goin undraft out of Houston back in May. He did take part in the Texans’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, but did not receive an offer from the team.
During his college career are Houston, Hightower 65 tackles (40 solo), 0.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, five passes defensed and one forced fumble over the course of 20 games.
