Colts Sign S Earl Wolff

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve signed S Earl Wolff to a contract.

Wolff, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2013. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.37 million rookie contract when the Eagles waived him with an injury settlement back in August of last year.

Wolff later signed on to the Jaguars’ practice squad and was brought back on a future/reserve contract this past January. Unfortunately, Jacksonville waived him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

The Redskins signed him to a future/reserve contract this past January only to cut him loose earlier in the month.

In 2014, Wolff appeared in seven games for the Eagles and recorded seven tackles and a pass defense.
