Colts Sign S Ronald Martin To Practice Squad, Release S Andrew Williamson

The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve signed S Ronald Martin to their practice squad and released S Andrew Williamson from the unit.

The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. QB Phillip Walker
  2. OLB Garrett Sickels
  3. ILB Darnell Sankey
  4. G Adam Redmond
  5. TE Henry Krieger-Coble
  6. WR Fred Brown
  7. WR Krishawn Hogan
  8. NT Joey Mbu
  9. OT Andrew Wylie
  10. S Ronald Martin

Martin, 24, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in 2015. However, he, unfortunately, waived during roster cuts and later claimed by the Jets.

Martin was on an off of their 53-man roster during the 2016 season, but was eventually promoted to the active roster in December The Jets traded him to the Colts a few week ago for LS Thomas Hennessy, but they cut him loose this past weekend.

In 2016, Martin appeared in three games for the Jets and recorded one tackle and no interceptions.
