The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday that they’ve signed TE Clive Walford to a contract.
This comes shortly after the team placed TE Jack Doyle on injured reserve with a kidney injury.
Walford, 26, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Raiders elected to place him on waivers back in April and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
However, Walford lasted just a few months in New York, as he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
In 2017, Walford appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
