Colts Sign Third-Round OLB Tarell Basham

The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve signed third-round OLB Tarell Basham to a four-year contract.

The Colts have officially locked up their entire 2017 draft class with this signing.

According to OverTheCap.com, Basham will receive a four-year contract worth $3,235,856, which includes a signing bonus of $835,856.

Basham, 23, was selected with the No. 80 overall pick by the Colts in this year’s NFL draft. Some felt he could end up being an early second-round pick, but the Colts were able to get a good value by taking him in the third round.

During his four-year college career at Ohio, Basham recorded 152 tackles, 27 sacks, five forced fumbles, a recovery and five pass defenses over the course of 50 games.
