Colts Sign Veteran OT J’Marcus Webb, Waive/Injured OT Jared Machorro

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve signed veteran OT J’Marcus Webb to a contract and waived OT Jared Machorro with an injury designation.

Should Machorro clear waivers on Tuesday, he will revert to the Colts’ Injured Reserve list.

Webb, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bears back in 2010. He spent three years in Chicago before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings at the start of the 2013 season.

Since then, Webb has had brief stints with the Chiefs, Vikings and Raiders before catching on with the Seahawks in 2016.

Webb was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season for an undisclosed violation and wound up sitting out the entire year.

In 2016, Webb was active for nine games and rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 74 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players at the time of his release.
