The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve signed TE Chase Coffman to a contract on Tuesday.
This comes after the news that TE Dwyane Allen is expected to miss some time with an ankle injury.
Coffman, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals. He lasted a little over three years in Cincinnati before he later caught on with Falcons in 2012.
Coffman spent two years with the Falcons before he signing on with the Titans as an unrestricted free agent. The Titans were flipping Coffman on and off of their active roster before waiving him in October of last year.
The Seahawks signed him to a contract towards the end of the season and later caught on with the Colts this summer. Unfortunately, the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2015, Coffman has appeared two games and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Titans and Seahawks.
