The Texans cut Johnson loose earlier in the week, and it wasn’t long after that he had a visit lined up with the Colts.
Indianapolis seemed like the clear favorites all along given that they really needed another receiver and they give him the best opportunity at winning a title.
Johnson, 33, caught 85 passes for 936 yards receiving and three touchdowns over the course of 15 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 40 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
