The Indianapolis Colts are hosting eight players for tryouts during their mandatory minicamp this week including former Giants TE Larry Donnell, per Mike Chappell.
The other players in camp with the Colts this week include:
- CB Phillip Adams
- TE James Dray
- LS Andrew East
- ILB Jeremiah George
- TE Brandon Greene
- CB Shakiel Randolph
- DE Mark Thomas
Donnell, 28, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Grambling State back in 2012. The Giants elected to bring Donnell back on a one-year, $1,671,000 restricted tender last year but he’s been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for several months.
In 2016, Donnell appeared in 14 games for the Giants and caught 15 passes for 92 yards receiving and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 227 total snaps last year to go along with a below-average rating.
