Colts Waive DT Jonathan Calvin From Injured Reserve

The Indianapolis Colts officially waived DT Jonathan Calvin from injured reserve on Tuesday.

Calvin, 24, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May of last year. Green Bay, unfortunately, decided to waive him as they worked their roster down to the 53-man limit and he later signed on to the Colts’ practice squad.

The Colts brought Calvin back on a futures contract only to waive him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason.

During his two-year college career, Calvin recorded 82 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, one interception, one pass defensive, one fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles.
