Colts Waive RB Dalton Crossan From I.R. With Settlement

The Indianapolis Colts officially waived RB Dalton Crossan from injured reserve on Tuesday with an injury settlement.

Crossan, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of New Hampshire back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.

The Colts waived him with an injury designation last week and he later reverted to injured reserve.

During the preseason opener, Crossan saw three carries for three yards rushing and caught two passes for 11 yards.

While at New Hampshire, Crossan totaled for 2,617 rushing yards, 779 receiving yards and 1,793 kickoff return yards to go along with 36 total touchdowns.
