Robinson, 23, was taken in the sixth round of this year’s NFL Draft. He managed to make the team coming out of the preseason, but has lost snaps since the Colts elected to re-sign Ahmad Bradshaw last month.
He signed a four-year, $2,388,168 rookie contract that included $108,168 fully guaranteed. Robinson will make base salaries of $435,000 (2015), $525,000 (2016), $615,000 (2017), and $705,000 (2018) over the remainder of the contract.
This season, Robinson has appeared in five games and ran for 39 yards on 17 carries (2.3 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 33 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
