The Indianapolis Colts waived S Dezmen Southward from injured reserve on Wednesday with an injury settlement.
Southward, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Falcons back in 2014. He was in the second-year of his four-year, $3.125 million rookie contract when the Falcons waived him in November of last year.
The Colts later signed him to their practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve contract this past January.
In 2015, Southward appeared in three games and recorded one tackle for the Falcons.
