Colts Work Out WR/KR Trindon Holliday Monday

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts worked out former Broncos and Giants WR/KR Trindon Holliday on Monday.

This is the second workout for Holliday is as many weeks given that he visited with the Bears last week.

The Giants released from the injured reserve list last week and there’s no question that Holliday is by far the best available option on the market.

Holliday, 28, originally signed a one-year deal worth $700,000 with the Giants back in March, but he was placed on injured reserve over a month ago.

Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner since he signed with the Broncos two years ago. During this time, he’s totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns.

However, he’s had three fumbles and hasn’t been much of a contributor on offense outside of two receptions for 17 yards receiving. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 12 kick returner in the league last year.
