Colts Worked Out 3 Including LBs Nate Irving & Danny Lansanah

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Colts worked out three players on Tuesday including LB Nate Irving, DT Jordan Hill, and LB Danny Lansanah.

Irving, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with the Broncos before signing a three-year deal with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent last year.

Unfortunately for Irving, he was cut loose coming out of the preseason as the Colts trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

The Jets and Cardinals also worked out Irving recently but was not signed to a contract following either session.

In 2015, Irvin appeared in eight games for the Colts and recorded 14 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.

Lansanah, 30, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut back in 2008. He lasted one year in Green Bay before he was waived at the start of the 2009 season.

Since then, Lansanah has played for the Dolphins, Lions and Jets before catching on with the Buccaneers towards the end of the 2013 season.

The Buccaneers elected to not tender him a contract, which made him an unrestricted free agent. Lansanah later signed on with the Dolphins but was released back in August.

Since becoming a free agent, Lansanah has tried out for the Sants and Raiders.

In 2015, Lansanah appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 55 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 46 linebacker out of 97 qualifying players.
