Colts WR T.Y. Hilton Day-To-Day With Knee Bruise, Could Miss 1-2 Weeks

A source tells Pro Football Talk that an MRI on Colts WR T.Y. Hilton‘s knee showed that he sustained just a bruise.

  • According to PFT’s source, Hilton is “probably day to day.”
  • Ian Rapoport mentions that Hilton could still miss one to two weeks, depending on how he feels.

Indications were that the injury was unlikely to be anything major, but it’s still great news for the Colts’ offense who is coming off of a poor performance against a strong Bills’ defense in Week 1.

If Hilton were to miss any time, it’s like that Donte Moncrief would see more snaps opposite to Andrew Johnson with rookie Phillip Dorsett possibly getting more work as well.

Hilton, 25, signed a five-year extension worth $65 million and includes $39 million guaranteed with the Colts just a month ago.

Hilton finished Sunday’s game with seven receptions for 88 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
