Concerns Growing Regarding WR Mike Williams and RB LeGarrette Blount

Charlie Campbell of Walter Football reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coaching staff attributes poor seasons form WR Mike Williams and RB LeGarrette Blount to a poor work ethic and “partying.”

Campbell notes that another down year from Williams could force the team to trade him or just move on without him.

There were concerns regarding both players coming out of college but their rookie season proved the doubters wrong initially but the issues that negatively impacted their draft stock ultimately showed up this season.

The team has already found a new head coach in Greg Schiano who has begun the process of changing the teams culture. Tampa Bay is the youngest team in the league which makes it important that they have a strong management structure in place to prevent players from regressing which is exactly what happened across the board for this team in 2011.
