Cowboys Activate DE Randy Gregory From NFI List

The Cowboys have activated DE Randy Gregory from the non-football illness list on Wednesday, according to Calvin Watkins.

Gregory was officially reinstated from suspension a few weeks ago.

Dallas has made it clear that Gregory is in their plans moving forward, despite the fact that he wound up missing the entire 2017 season while serving a suspension for another failed drug test.

Gregory, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.814 million contract that includes $1.404 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2016, Gregory appeared in two games for the Cowboys and recorded nine tackles and a sack.
